Deborah's Story
Life
Let's see, so many years, in so little space. I'm divorced, with two children, well one child one adult child, a daughter 10 years old and a son 20 years old, wow 20 years old! Blink, and they're grown. Life is good, I have a good job, it's hard but rewarding. I'm in Special Education at a local high school, I teach learning challenged kids, like I said tough, but rewarding. I'm happy, content and serene. It's really all one could ask for. Life sometimes takes turns in unplanned, unpaved directions, the secret is to pave that road with acceptance and look forward to the lessons held within your new path.

he 27 year old, in a wheelchair, maybe you didn't know that, he's a CalState student and just moved into his own apartment. My daughter is about to graduate, hopefully, she's a handful. Thinks she's an adult, but half the time acts like a spoiled little brat. Typical for 17 I'm told. I was horrible at 17, this must be my penance one-hundred fold. Still working the same job, getting used to life without small kids in the house. No grandkids but I have a great-niece and great-nephew, ages 7 and 5. They're fun and silly and great little mess makers. And like grandkids, I can have them over for awhile and then give them back. Works out great. Life is suddenly very quiet and very relaxing. Though some times too much so. I'll get used to it.
